The International Journal of Medical Case Reports does not charge any Article Processing Charges (APC) or publication fees. Our platform exists solely for the dissemination of knowledge among the medical fraternity and is maintained with the spirit of academic contribution rather than commercial gain. By removing financial barriers, we aim to ensure that clinicians, academicians, and students alike can access and share case-based experiences without restrictions.

It is important to note that our journal publishes only case reports and not original research papers. Case reports represent individual clinical experiences rather than evidence-based research or large-scale trials. Therefore, readers should exercise caution while interpreting management strategies mentioned in these reports, as they may not be universally applicable or generalizable.

Since we do not charge APC, our resources are limited. It is not feasible for us to employ high-end editorial or technical staff to perform exhaustive paraphrasing, plagiarism checks, or content polishing. We rely on the integrity of authors and request them to refrain from malpractices such as plagiarism or inappropriate paraphrasing. Authors are encouraged to ensure the originality and accuracy of their submissions before sending them to us, as our capacity to conduct deep content screening is limited.

Finally, we wish to emphasize that our journal does not solicit submissions from authors. Every submission is voluntary, and authors are expected to exercise due diligence, particularly regarding the indexing status of the journal, before making a submission. Later requests for withdrawal or retraction on the grounds of indexing criteria can create unnecessary administrative burdens for our editorial team. Given that we operate without charging authors and derive no monetary benefit from publications, we kindly request that authors consider these aspects seriously prior to submission.
