EMBASE Coverage

The International Journal of Medical Case Reports (IJOMCR), ISSN 2455-0574, has been accepted by Elsevier for EMBASE coverage effective 1 July 2026. Elsevier has since confirmed in writing that 43 articles from Volume 7 have been indexed in Embase.

Elsevier updates the public EMBASE journal list twice a year, in January and July. Elsevier has indicated that IJOMCR is expected to appear in the January 2027 update. Until then, the journal will not appear in the publicly downloadable list. Authors who need public verification for institutional or regulatory purposes should keep this timeline in mind.

When citing this journal for indexing purposes, please always use the ISSN 2455-0574.
